I am helping to sell a friend's home in Appleton. It is a lovely homestead with ~ one acre open space, perennials, some fruits trees and lots of woods. There are some old animal pastures that have since started to grow in. The home is 1164 square feet with an attached two car garage and an insulated studio above the garage. The property is near the Liberty/Appleton townline, and the price is $115,000 with a very motivated seller. The home is solar powered with generator back up and a phone line. For a complete listing with details and 18 photos check out this link: http://greenhomesforsale.com/listing.php?id=19392

Am interested in this house----just to be clear, the septic system is in place and functional---just using the composting toilet currently?
Thanks.

Hi,
You understand correctly. The house is fully on and hooked up to the septic system. Where the composting toilet sits, a regular crapper could go in with water and waste already installed. The kitchen sink, bathroom sink and shower/tub all flow into the septic. If you would like to have a tour, let me know.
Thanks
Anne
