Beekeeping has gained in popularity in past years. Providing habitat for bees, pollinating your garden and producing honey and other products make beekeeping a great hobby.

Join Bob Foster, Vice President of the Kennebec Beekeepers Association, and find out what all the buzz is about.

Topics will include

bee equipment
when and how to purchase bees
safety considerations
honey and beeswax products
benefits and challenges, and local resources.

There will be lots of hands-on materials and bee related items to "play with".

This is a two-week class being held at Gardiner Area High School from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Registration fee is $10.
