Hello
I'm a 27 year old looking to rent, lease or work out some sort of deal in which I could farm 2-10 acres. My intentions are to have (ALL ORGANIC) pastured poultry; a very specific and special breed I hope to fill a niche market with through breeding my own chicks to raise in a hatchery like setting, which would require a barn in good condition, and pasture to raise them in the spring/summer/fall. This is a new untapped market I am trying to get into ahead of the curve.
The breeds are Marradunna Basque hens and French "Bresse" which I have invested thousands of dollars in breeding pairs/trios and will be working my own lines emphasizing all the qualities of a standard Bresse Chicken.
In addition to the poultry I am wanting to raise a breeding pair of a rare heritage hog(Large Black) and sell them as so, in addition to pasture raising my own feeder pigs. If you are able to accommodate this, or have more interest in the ideas I have contact me with some details as to what you have to offer and your interest in my endeavor.
Best
Ramsey

I may be able to work with you ,but my location is in Newfield, Maine.I have 6 acres, about half in beaver pond and half open with two new buildings about 30 years old.I have been regreen building them and would be interested in talking to you about a farming enterprise.I'm not sure where you are. Dan Phelan, check my profile and you will get a sense of what the deal is.I can't do it all alone.
