Actinidia deliciosa, the kiwi of commerce, is hardy only to 10° F, the more than 50 species within the genus
Actinidia include many that are hardy to -30° F and some even to -40°.
Actinidia arguta, the species most commonly referred to as hardy kiwi, is zone 4 hardy and includes many cultivars that produce delectable fruit.
