Snell Family Farm is a diversified farm committed to growing great food and beautiful plants for the people of Southern Maine. Our season begins in late April with greenhouses of flowering plants, vegetable seedlings, herbs, and perennials. Our produce season kicks off around July 4th with peas and potatoes. By mid to the end of July vegetables are in full swing with tomatoes, green beans, garlic, lettuce, raspberries, zucchini, cucumbers, onions, basil, carrots and peppers. We offer pick your own opportunities at the farm with raspberries in July and August, and apples in September and October. We continue our harvest though October and sometimes into November with winter squash, kale, collards, apples, and cider. What we love about selling all of our produce directly to local customers is that we know the families we feed and they know the story of the food they eat. Call to arrange for farm tours.

What We Offer: Pay any amount and get 10% value added on (for example, $90 buys $100 in farm credit) to spend on anything for sale at the farm store or our farmers' market locations. CSA members may recharge accounts any time. Receive our farm newsletter. We use conventional farming practices. We have some no-chem crops, but they are not certified.

How You Can Get It: Pre-pay by 4/30, buy more any time. Come to the farm store or farmers' markets in Portland & Saco.
